Following a large number of messages and emails enquiring about Groovie shows, we would like to confirm that we are no longer running shows in London.

It has been a truly lovely adventure.

Comedy clubs who wish to partner with the venue are welcome to enquire. Our night was on Thursdays, and partnerships would be subject to references. For further information, please contact JustP Comedian.

Continuing our introduction of acts for 2026, we’re delighted to announce one of the most exciting musical comedy improvisation troupes around: AdLibretto.

Everything you see on that stage is completely unique — bespoke, spontaneous, and truly one-off. The cast play with confidence and generosity, constantly creating space for one another as they open up imaginative possibilities and keep the momentum fizzing (or the rubbish juggling, in one particularly memorable show). Expect sharp wit, playful invention, and skillfully woven references to current affairs and popular culture, all delivered with perfectly timed punchlines when you least expect them.

Led by Neil Goulder, alongside his hand-picked actors and a brilliantly playful pianist, AdLibretto is a total sensory delight. The music spans an astonishing range of styles, fuelling the action and elevating each scene, while the performers’ physicality adds another layer of comic brilliance.

They’ll be joining us in late spring — more details to follow as dates are confirmed.

We were once again bowled over by how amazing all the jammers were at November's AdLibretto musical improv jam at The Bell! We love seeing talented performers come along and throw themselves into scenes and songs wacky, emotional and everything in between!
