“In the Philippines… A Transwoman love”

Some people still question love when it comes from someone different… but Endie Sibonga is living proof that love has no labels.

Through the years, she stood strong—not just for herself, but for her family. She cared for her mother and father with unwavering devotion, staying by their side until their very last breath. No titles, no recognition—just pure, selfless love.

And even after loss, her heart did not grow tired.

Today, she continues that same love as a devoted auntie, guiding and nurturing her nephew and niece like they are her own. Quiet sacrifices. Gentle strength. A love that never asks for anything in return.

This is my advocacy:
To remind the world that being a trans woman Carer does not define your capacity to love—it only shows how strong you are to give it despite everything.

Because at the end of the day, love is what truly makes a family… and Endie has more than proven that. 💝🏳️‍🌈

Raye Jinggay Chinel will travel to the Philippines to carry out her advocacy project. 🇵🇭✨

As part of her commitment to uplifting marginalized communities, she will focus on advocating for trans elders—amplifying their voices, promoting inclusive healthcare, and fostering safe and supportive spaces. Her project aims to raise awareness about the unique challenges trans elders face while celebrating their resilience, history, and invaluable contributions to our community.

Through outreach, collaboration with local organizations, and community engagement, she hopes to inspire compassion, understanding, and meaningful change. This journey is not just about representation—it is about service, solidarity, and ensuring that no trans elder is left behind.

Many trans elders face isolation, discrimination in healthcare, and lack of family support.
They fought for visibility when it was dangerous to exist.
Now it is our turn to fight for them - to ensure safe housing, affirming care, and community connection.
No one should grow old feeling invisible.

Our elders paved the way for the freedom we live in today. They deserve dignity, healthcare, safety, and respect.

This crown is not just for beauty — it is for legacy, protection, and love. 💜

The Africa Centre is pleased to be hosting the official opening gala of Miss Trans Global Advocacy Pageant 2026. Contestants will be formally presented and receive their national gold sashes in a ceremonial celebration of identity, pride and representation.
The guests can expect music, presentations and moments of reflection honouring Trans excellence and global advocacy.
The grand final ceremony will be taking place on the 20th of February at the Capital City College King's Cross Centre Theatre.
