“You can’t keep spitting on the well and still expect clean water.”

Or so they saying goes.

You keep asking God for more, yet you keep tearing down the very people He used to bring light to your land.

In Nigeria, God didn’t leave us without witnesses.

He raised Fathers of faith.

Men like Pastor E.A. Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and many others.

Through them He poured healing, teachings, discipline, hope, and global influence into our nation.

But look at how you treat them.

You mock them, doubt them, insult them, reduce their life’s work to memes and gossip.

And then you wonder why certain doors stay shut.

You don’t have to agree with everything someone does to honour the grace they carry.

But when you treat what God has lifted with contempt, you quietly block yourself from what flows through it.

You’re not just rejecting a person, you’re rejecting the channel that God choose.

And heaven is very serious and intentional about its channels.

You say you want revival, prosperity, and spiritual depth, but you keep dishonouring the Generals that paid the price for it.

You want the oil, but you despise the vessel.

You want the harvest, but you insult the farmer.

Does that even work?

Let's check a fact, shall we?

Archbishop Benson Idahosa broke global barriers for Nigerian Christianity.

Pastor Adeboye carried a revival that shook nations.

Bishop Oyedepo taught a generation how faith produces results.

Pastor Kumuyi modelled discipline and holiness.

Pastor Chris took the gospel into the media space at a level Africa had never seen!

These are not small milestones.

Though they are human and even if they have flaws, the grace on their lives is not ordinary.

And here’s the truth you don’t like to hear:
You don’t rise above what you keep dishonouring.

Read it again.

When you train your mouth to tear down greatness, you train your spirit to reject the very help you need.

That’s why some blessings keep passing over you.

Not because God is wicked, but because you keep slapping His messengers.

So please next time, before you laugh, insult, or casually dismiss what God has built, pause.

Honour doesn’t mean worship, it simply means recognition.

And when you recognize what God has anointed, you position yourself to receive from it.

Because when you keep dishonouring greatness, it's not a curse but some things, no matter how much you desire and pray for, will never get to you.

This is not peculiar only to the Fathers, but cuts across to wherever greatness is found.

Your thoughts

UNDERSTANDING THE MIND.

Inspite of the outstanding medical breakthroughs and academic per excellence perceived in our world today by doctors, academicians, historians and philosophers, we are yet to come up with the best explanation of the human mind.

That is because the MIND is an intangible spiritual entity, performing at its best only by the shedding of the Light of God's words. Heb 4:12.

Now the question is, what is the mind??

The MIND is the faculty of man's reasoning and thoughts. It holds the power of imagination, recognition and appreciation. It is also responsible for processing your feelings and emotions resulting in attitudes and actions.

There are some key words in this definition which includes thoughts.

THOUGHT is said to be the creation, recalling, reviewing and processing of images for meaning, reason, language and expression.

That means in your mind, you can process and give meaning to the Images that you see with your eyes.

Other synonyms of the word mind which are used interchangeably in both New and Old Testament includes Thoughts, Reasoning, Imagination, and Inclination.

Also words like the heart, soul and mind are used interchangeably in the scripture to express the activities and the phenomenal nature of the human mind. The mind and its components cannot be diagnosed with the human understanding except with scriptural backings.

Now, the human person comprises of the inward man and the outward man. 2Cor 4:16

The outward man is the physical body of a man with its FIVE senses; sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. These helps him to connect to his physical environment or world.

However, the inward man is the human spirit/soul which is partitioned thus; mind, will, emotion, reasoning and Intellect.

The Bible describes the inward man as the hidden man of the Heart , or the man within the man.

The inward man or the human spirit is the one that was born again when you received Christ salvation, not the outward man.

But the BRIGDE between the inward man and the outward man is the your mind, which makes it a very powerful tool in the hands of either God or the devil, depending on whom you are yielded to.

Sometimes, understanding spiritual things can be difficult but physical happenings can give you a clue, because the Spiritual controls the Physical. Heb 11:3.

Which one are going to yield to?

NIGERIA AND UK IS NOT THE SAME😕😒

POV: United Kingdom.🇬🇧🇳🇬

I hear that a lot here and wonder what that even means. Is it that people changed location or location changed people?🤔

Or people allowed location to change them or location couldn't allow people change it? 😩

So I really don't understand it at all. When you asked some questions about some things, especially in CHURCH, you hear things like, HERE IS UK, NOT NIGERIA.

And it gives vibes like maybe God needs some adjusting to do so as to accommodate our new location since things are done "differently" here.

I am confused as to what exactly is going on???

Well, my question is...

Is service to God locational?

Should your life as a child of God need some kind of adjustments to serve Him better in the UK?

IS GOD NOW AN INDIGENOUS GOD?

Is our service to God rendered differently or needs diluting depending on our different locations?

I'LL NOT CHANGE MY FATHER'S NAME EVEN AFTER MARRIAGE.

You don't have anything to your name, neither does your father, otherwise we all would hear of him.

No landmark was made or has been made either professionally, materially, spiritually, physically, and otherwise.

Even your father's name is more of a padlock than an open door, and you know what, sometimes he, your father even knows!

Little wonders he'll raise a daughter who don't understand the indices of marriage.

Otherwise he should be the one to sit you down and teach you how these things are done properly, to avoid constituting unnecessary nuisance.

The worst kind of combination in this life is poor and pompous/proud. Very entitled!

And ladies with this mindset is usually found in this category.

THE POOR AND PROUD.

Some secured men don't even push it so hard if they realise that the woman they are marrying has successfully carved a niche for herself in her chosen profession or endeavour, which could be more of an open door and make even his own life easier.

They will insist that their women retain their father's name by the hyphen(-) before their name.

These kind are usually properly brought up in a wealthier environment, and taught humility by the reason of their training.

THE WEALTHY AND PRIME.

They know their place and make their homes an heaven on earth. Down to earth and ready to serve.

No child from a wealthy home whose parents means of wealth is unquestionable behaves ill-mannerly.

It is good to always start right when embarking on some journeys in life so as to get a desired result.

When you love your father's name that much, then don't get married to that man.

Because bearing your husband's name after marriage is you, giving him the honour that is due him, unless on a mutual agreement not to completely change it.

NO BABY STEPS. NO ADULT MOVES.

Oh!!! The joy of watching your little one take his/her first step is out of this world!!!

You don't want to miss it for anything.

But it's not about babies today. Let's talk.

Adult to adult.

You see, I doubt that this life demands giant leaps from you, however it is only asking for conscious and consistent baby steps.

Think about it.

Nobody was born running.

We all started with shaky little attempts, clinging onto furniture, stumbling more times than you can count.

Yet, those wobbly steps were not failures, they were the training ground for your strength.

This same rule applies to your dreams, your career, your aspirations, your healing, your growth.

You don’t and can't build success overnight. It come in stages, and it comes in one small consistent action at a time.

So you want to launch a book? Write the first page, even if it’s rough.

Save the first 10k, even if it feels insignificant.

Practice for five minutes, even if it seems too little.

Remember this: No baby step is a waste because because each step is a deposit into your future.

Because of the nature my of job, dropping the utility belt at the end of the day was like a sweet smelling savour to me.

I literarily look forward to it and so does my other colleagues. Everyone running off like you won't return the next day, if not earlier than the previous day even. 😂

My colleagues' faces will so lighten up that it's highly infectious. Even if you don't know them, you'll be so happy with them, and at the sight of them.

Even when you don't know the reason.😁

Then you come in the morning wearing a fake smile behind the gloomy face just for your clients and the payday, when you can do better. ☺️

What I mean is, that job pays your bills and handles some other things, why not make it worthwhile.

You see, your mood affects the way you work and your output. It can also affect your personality or improve it.

Your mood in whatever you do, but in this context is that which puts food on your table and pays the bills, has the capacity to affect even your relationship with either family, colleagues or friends.

Your mood can determine both your output and imput in your workplace or your business.

It's not a bad thing to be happy at the end of the working day, but also apply the happiness on your start of the day. That way your countenance will not be oozing "depression everywhere you go" 😂
