Politics lives in bodies. Whose bodies get protected, and whose get discarded? The personal has never been separate from the political. Every ounce of grief and rage you’re carrying is proof you’re still paying attention, still refusing to look away.
But feeling it is only the beginning. Grief that gets witnessed, and rage that gets moved, don’t stay grief and rage forever. They become fuel. Clarity. Direction. The kind of power that doesn’t burn you out, because it isn’t stuck, it’s moving through you, into action.
This is the work of collective liberation: to feel all of it, and let what we feel become how we act.
