A surreal journey into Magritte's world of pipes, apples, bowler hats & impossible realities 🍏☁️

'This Is Still Not a Pipe: The Afterlife of Magritte' brings together major paintings, works on paper & sculpture that the Belgian Surrealist made throughout his career

The exhibition shows them alongside works by 40+ artists of different generations (e.g. Alex Da Corte, Mona Hatoum, Issy Wood), highlighting Magritte's lasting influence on today's art

A century of American life, seen through the lens 📸

'Portrait of a City: A Century of American Photography' Dulwich Picture Gallery brings together photographs made across New York, Los Angeles, Chicago & San Francisco, capturing the people, streets & changing identities of American cities 🌉

100 years of American urban life are traced through the eyes of 34 photographers including Berenice Abbott, Alfred Stieglitz, Helen Levitt, Dorothea Lange, & Diane Arbus

From intimate portraits to striking cityscapes, the exhibition is ultimately a story about people: how we inhabit cities, shape them, & are shaped by them (basically the subject of my undergraduate dissertation ✨)
