Located inside ArtSpace Café, the exhibition brings together works that Arsham created in the past 20 years, exploring his fascination with time & memory

Five rare archival drawings are on view for the first time but, for me, the highlights are his iconic "fictional archaeology" sculptures with geological crystals & minerals 💎

💎 Hidden gem in Italy: Sacro Bosco di Bomarzo (.dei.mostri)

🐲 Commissioned by Pier Francesco Orsini in the 16th century, the Sacro Bosco is a sculpture park dubbed the "Park of Monsters" for the presence of 30+ grotesque sculptures scattered in a surreal landscape

Fun facts: the park became the subject of a short film made by Salvador Dalí & was also an inspiration for Niki de Saint Phalle's Tarot Garden ()

💎 Hidden gem in Italy: Frasassi Caves

Located in the Marche Apennines, the Frasassi Caves are one of the most magnificent underground routes in the world ⛰️

Splendid stalactites & gigantic stalagmites blend with crystal formations in an ecosystem where you can observe the formation of mineral deposits, with drops of water carving & building their own structures

Useful info:
✴️ Visits last 75 minutes
✴️ You'll be part of a group because you can't visit the caves on your own
✴️ Each group is accompanied by a professional guide
✴️ The pathway is 1,500 metres long
✴️ The temperature inside is 14 °C
✴️ It's recommended to wear a jumper & comfortable non-slip shoes (yes, even in the summer)

The most inspiring house in Venice: the Peggy Guggenheim Collection () 🪞

Palazzo Venier dei Leoni is the former home of legendary art collector Peggy Guggenheim, transformed into one of the world's most important museums of modern art

From Picasso to Po***ck, Carrington to Calder, each room reflects Peggy's fearless vision, artistic intuition & bold taste in bringing together artists who changed the course of 20th-century art 🖌️

Some of these masterpieces are on display in the temporary exhibition 'Peggy Guggenheim in London: The Making of a Collector', which will travel to the RA in the autumn (so excited to see it in our galleries! 🇬🇧)
