🎵INTRODUCING our MUSICIANS for THE DREAM MACHINE...

It's our inimitable musicians RITA FERNANDES and SAM WHITBY who magically improvise a live soundtrack to the show!

Australian-Swiss violinist Rita and British cellist-pianist Sam are both classically trained musicians, having played in orchestras, chamber groups and as solo musicians for over 20 years. And since joining the Dream Machine in 2023, they've fallen in love with improv.

Rita also dabbles in Balkan, Celtic, French, Brazilian (and more) music, while Sam is a multi-instrumentalist with a particular interest in Baroque and Renaissance music! They also both had quite odd dreams last night...

"Rita had a terrible nightmare in which 𝄞 𝆑 𝅘𝅥𝅮 𝄻 𝆒 𝅘𝅥𝅯 𝄆 𝅗𝅥 𝄇 𝆓 𝅘𝅥 𝄽 𝄰 𝅝 𝄾 𝆏 𝅘𝅥𝅲 𝄿 𝄪 𝄡 .

In Sam's dream, he was on holiday in 𝄢𝅝𝄆𝄇 when he encountered a friendly pair of 𝅘𝅥𝅯𝆑𝄰 and they led him to their 𝄡𝅘𝅥𝄽 where they 𝄫𝅗𝅥𝆓 his 𝄐𝅘𝅥𝅮𝄾 until he 𝆏𝅘𝅥𝅯𝄱 out of his 𝄻𝄪𝅝."

Here to cause some trouble in the villa, it’s our brunette bombshell, WILL STEVENS 💪

Will is a lover, fighter, actor and producer lorded for portraying the sexy sexy Hephaestion in Alexander The Great on Netflix. Will is sometimes so busy as an actor and producer (of ) he forgets to iron his clothes which explains the sorry state of his shirt in these photos. He’s been with Dream Machine right from the start and can’t wait to come up to Edinburgh.
Will’s dream

“It was like this ghost this big floating Casper looking thing. But comfort. Spongy. Soft. It was a duvet. Then like some small white dots. Just little clouds. Realised they were socks. Crumpled. Balled. Then maybe a towel or some sort
Of jumper. Basically my whole wardrobe was floating in front of my bed. Like a cosy version of sleep paralysis. Yeh. Not the first time. Just a mass of clean but very crumpled clothing haunting me. Taunting me. I think maybe I need to get an iron or something. Or maybe I’m attracted to laundry?“

INTRODUCING our CAST for THE DREAM MACHINE...

Commonly known as the best of us, it’s PIP FRANKS ⭐️

Pip is an actor who joined dream machine and all her dreams came true (not literally can you imagine!!). She has loved performing with Make It Beautiful for the last 5 years and can’t wait to create some silly magical fun at the fringe this year!

“All of my dreams mean something - the other day I had a dream that I was at a wedding but I got stuck in the toilet and had to watch the ceremony through a tiny window of a castle … the meaning is clear: I need a wee!”

INTRODUCING our CAST for THE DREAM MACHINE...

It’s your favourite little brother, JONNY DAVIDSON 🔥

Jonny is a British/New Zealand actor who specialises in strange sounds and long limbed flailing, often combined to thrilling effect. He can be seen most recently in Perfectly Fine Theatre’s production ‘Borscht’ playing throughout the summer. Jonnys thrilled to be heading up to the fringe and can’t wait to flail publicly.

“I had a dream that I was chosen to be batman and was given the suit - specifically the very stiff ‘89 one where u can’t move ur neck, but I was in Ealing and there’s no big skyscrapers there so I was just having to jog around the street - It was summer too so I was sweating out in this thing and honestly I found the whole experience very unpleasant. I didn’t even have a robin to help me out or crack wise with…a real shame.”
