We Owe Each Other Ugly, an article about vulnerability & responsibility.

“So, when we see people as people and not principles of something ‘better’, we have more cohesive, well-formed, well-rounded relationships. Forgiving someone and recognising mistakes costs vulnerability. So does apologising. So does reaching out first. So does loving and being loved. Seeing humans for their humanity and not their ambition to be anything but; this will make the divide.“

“My primary medium as an artist is photography, but I’ve discovered I’m much more than someone who just takes photos.
I am a storyteller, a person who bears witness to the world as it presents itself to me.

I am someone who seeks truth and light, no matter how uncomfortable it may be. I want to assign importance to the big moments as well as the small ones.

I have a desire to create change, to make the world better, to make space for those who need it the most, one image at a time.”
