Ukrainian art activist Maria Kulikovska has created sculptures of her hands using ballistic soap and flowers 👋🏻💐🥀

Hauntingly beautiful, these works have a darker side to them: The Swedish soap they are made from is the same density as human flesh, used for target practice by military factories 🎯

Maria said: “I am ready to fight for freedom until the very end, only my struggle is through art and culture, not through weapons and borders”

War Paint Is a series of 4 generic colouring book landscapes hand painted by the artist using a different set of acrylic military model paint. 🎨

Caroline said: “Whilst designed to blend into the natural environment, at the same time these colours represent the more sinister intent of occupation and control”

“my country is on fire and the world is just silent and did nothing. it is unfair and I think as a human being we also deserve a better life. staying strong and still willing to fight for humanity is not that easy knowing a part of your life and family is still there, where there is no hope for a better life. I joined this event because I hate war and guns and I was hoping to raise my voice against violence but I'm (we are) all broken in pieces and I'm voiceless”
