Here are somethings I learnt in May but am only getting around to processing now.

Would love to know which one you’ve been feeling lately? No. 8 is particularly tricky one for me!

Ps. My work is still on display at Luminary Bakery in Stoke Newington if you didn’t get a chance to see during Hackney Art Week (what a week!)

To all those voices in your head telling you not to - all you need to do is take one baby step and you never know how it’ll go.

This is the last weekend to see my show on at luminary bakery in Stoke Newington, as part of Hackney Art Week. I’d love to know if you pop by.

You know that feeling in the depths of winter when you just soul achingly wish you were somewhere else? With the sun warming your bones? ☀️ That’s where this collection of paintings was born from.

Tbh still kinda dreaming of the sunshine this week in London with this weather…

Getting this collection ready was no mean feat. To all of us out there making, creating and doing in the gaps between everything else. ✨🤍

On show all week at as part of

I was wild on sleep deprivation of the first year of parenthood and desperately trying to figure out what was still mine.

I’d furiously protect the nap times to write who knows what in my “morning” pages.

I somehow started to allow myself to doodle and play and be a bit crap at art. Those two hour lunch naps were my escape.

I’d always been fascinated by the concept of flow states, at various points in my life common and present and others elusive.

But now almost 5 years later I have lots of tricks to get into that state as often as possible. Even if only for 30mins.

Do you know what gets you into flow? I’d love to hear.

Or if you want some ideas of how to find it drop me a DM, I’ve done all the experiments so you don’t have to!

A week on an Italian island and it’s very easy to forget about the long list to do next week.

Any suggestions for making 5 days from 3 for extra exhibition prep?

I have install planned for Thursday and opening on Friday (with lots of cake and ☕️).

But before then framing needs to be finished, details completed and photographed not to mention all those extra bits that seem to expand as the time shrinks! Send help and luck! 🍀

I’d love to see you if you’re around Hackney during Art week. Drop me a line if you plan on popping by.

Big love,

I’m currently sitting beside a pool surrounded by cypress and olive trees in Sardinia (sorry, not sorry).

I was dreaming of this feeling when I was making this collection in the depths of winter. The warmth of evening sun, lazy afternoon naps, walks alone, and sitting with a coffee in the garden.

This week is set to have that punctuated with plenty of dive bombs into the pool and five-year-old demands. That balance is okay though.

For the tunes on a Friday afternoon in the studio and the sun is pouring in the open door.

I like to remind myself that even if no-one sees this content it’s worth it for the vibes!

Have the best long weekend (I hope you are all out enjoying yourselves not doomscrolling…)

‘The focus isn’t just you’ and other moments from the studio this week…

I’m excited about the direction this series is taking. The marks that feel grounded but light.

Normally the dark evenings feel heavy to me but somehow the flow from the work is easing that!

Should I include paper works as well as paintings in the next release?
