Lochcarron Drama Club A community based adult Drama club - enthusiastic amateurs who enjoy performance, especially comedies!

Open to everyone to take part - either on stage or as part of the wider production team.

This weekend the Lochcarron A Team will perform The Allotment at the Scottish finals of the Scottish Community Drama Association One Act Festival. They will join 7 other groups from across Scotland, as they take to the stage on Saturday night at The Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

This is the culmination of months of rehearsals and preparation, with performances in Plockton, Wick and our village event in Lochcarron along the road to Pitlochry. We are sending all of our best wishes to the team - the cast and support crew who make all of this possible.

To Vicky, Rita, Pam, Colleen, Sally, Morag, Ali, Louise, Annabel, Brandon and Lewis - Break a leg gang, and we hope you have a wonderful time, enjoy every minute!!!

✨Scottish Finals 2026✨

From 23rd to 25th April, the Top 8 teams across our four Divisions will compete in the Scottish Final at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

We are thrilled to confirm our 8 competing teams...

SCDA Highland Division:
Buccaneer Theatre - "Breaking and Entering" by Mark Davenport

SCDA Northern Division:
Bon Accord Players - "Metamorphoses" by Sami Ibrahim, Laura Lomas & Sabrina Mahfouz
The Wee Perthshire Dram-a Company - "A Thousand Invisible Choices" by Keith Mackenzie

SCDA Western Division:
Stranraer Drama Club - "Jilted Lovers Helpline" by Johnny Grimm
88 Theatre - "A Beginners Guide to Madness" by Barry McKinley

SCDA Eastern Division:
Broadsword Theatre - "I Dream Before I Take the Stand" by Arlene Hutton
EGTG - "Medea" by Euripedes (translated by Ian Johnstone)
