AGM of the Lochcarron Amateur Dramatic Society will be held at 7.30pm.
Upper room at Lochcarron Village Hall
All welcome as we reflect on a fabulous year of drama and look ahead to the coming season. We promise to keep the offical bits as short as possible!!

Thurs 24th Sept - Upper Hall at 7pm
Lochcarron Drama Club Open Evening - come along as we chat about ideas for the coming season, explore play options and see what everyone wants to do this year. Lots of roles available in the club, whether it's acting, directing, sets and props, costumers, prompting or just generally lending a hand!

This weekend the Lochcarron A Team will perform The Allotment at the Scottish finals of the Scottish Community Drama Association One Act Festival. They will join 7 other groups from across Scotland, as they take to the stage on Saturday night at The Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

This is the culmination of months of rehearsals and preparation, with performances in Plockton, Wick and our village event in Lochcarron along the road to Pitlochry. We are sending all of our best wishes to the team - the cast and support crew who make all of this possible.

To Vicky, Rita, Pam, Colleen, Sally, Morag, Ali, Louise, Annabel, Brandon and Lewis - Break a leg gang, and we hope you have a wonderful time, enjoy every minute!!!

✨Scottish Finals 2026✨

From 23rd to 25th April, the Top 8 teams across our four Divisions will compete in the Scottish Final at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.

We are thrilled to confirm our 8 competing teams...

SCDA Highland Division:
Buccaneer Theatre - "Breaking and Entering" by Mark Davenport

SCDA Northern Division:
Bon Accord Players - "Metamorphoses" by Sami Ibrahim, Laura Lomas & Sabrina Mahfouz
The Wee Perthshire Dram-a Company - "A Thousand Invisible Choices" by Keith Mackenzie

SCDA Western Division:
Stranraer Drama Club - "Jilted Lovers Helpline" by Johnny Grimm
88 Theatre - "A Beginners Guide to Madness" by Barry McKinley

SCDA Eastern Division:
Broadsword Theatre - "I Dream Before I Take the Stand" by Arlene Hutton
EGTG - "Medea" by Euripedes (translated by Ian Johnstone)
