It's here!
Tickets are now on sale for our autumn production of 'Pride & Prejudice'.

Jane Austen's most famous love story is brought to vibrant life by the LADS. If you're missing Bridgerton or The Other Bennet Sister, then step back into this joyful story by the Regency period's most famous author.

LADS would like to consolidate our storage. At present, we have costumes, props, and equipment stored in several locations which can be hard to access.

What do we need?
A dry, secure space with vehicle access. Possibly space outside to work on scenery etc. occasionally. Electricity for lighting would be a bonus.

Location?
Anywhere in the Oswestry/Llanymynech area.

What size space?
Probably about the size of a double garage. We have several racks of costumes and would need to put in some freestanding shelving for props, etc. Then there are larger pieces of staging, lights, speakers, etc.

One solution is for us to seek some funding to purchase a container like the one pictured. Maybe you have a bit of land that you would be happy for us to use for this? (Obviously, it would need to be accessible using a large lorry for the drop-off. )

Or maybe you have a barn/garage/space that you you think would fit the bill?

We don't have a huge amount of money so any rental costs would have to be within our means. (Most formal storage options are beyond our budget.) But maybe there's a kind-hearted person out there, who would love to support a local community arts group...?

We had a great casting session for our autumn production of 'Pride & Prejudice' last weekend. Don't worry if you didn't make it - there is another session this Wednesday 22 July 7.30pm at Pant Memorial Hall.

Nothing terrifying, you won't be put on the spot. Just a chance to read the script (it's a really fun and imaginative adaptation) and for the director to start the casting process.

"These are great fun to attend even if you don't want to act, however like me you may just end up loving it.
We are always looking for front and back of house staff to support our productions as well. By coming to the reading you can discuss how this works and what you may be able to help with."

This will be an amazing experience for young people. It includes a trip to the wonderful 'Willow Globe', which is one of the most magical theatre spaces we have ever performed in.
