My very first commission 💜 keep scrolling ➡️

I’m so excited to finally share this special piece…
Creating this glass artwork was such a pleasure, from carefully choosing the colours to painting each piece of glass. But the most important part was capturing a true likeness of Kali and making sure her personality shone through the finished design.

I also spent lots of time considering the different textures and shapes of the glass, choosing pieces that would complement the composition and bring the whole portrait to life.

I’m so happy with how it turned out and incredibly grateful to have been trusted with such a special commission.

Spent this morning working on this beauty, and I can’t wait to see it all finished. There’s something so satisfying about getting completely lost in the process of making glass…it makes the hours fly by! ❤️

Posting day is one of the loveliest parts of what I do. 🧡

Every parcel has been carefully wrapped, sealed and packed with love, ready to make its journey to its new home. From start to finish, every step is a true labour of love.

The finishing touches are some of my favourites adding the stickers, cards and comp notes before sending each order on its way.

Not my usual way to spend an afternoon... sitting in the middle of a field surrounded by my glass sculptures especially during a heatwave in a T-shirt and jeans! ☀️😅

But I wanted to give you a better idea of just how tall these pieces really are. Photos don’t always show their scale, so I thought I’d step in for comparison!

I’ve also been busy creating a few new sculptures which will be making their way to my Etsy shop very soon.

The joy of selling a piece of art is truly immeasurable. It reminds me that everything I’m creating is for the right reason and that my work is finding its way to people who genuinely connect with it.

My face says it all in this photo as I’m on my way to the post office to send this stained glass piece on its journey to Bonnie Scotland. ☀️

My very first time illustrating on glass... and I’m completely hooked! ✨
It feels like my love of illustration has finally found its perfect partner in glass. Watching these two passions come together has brought me so much joy.

A huge thank you to my lovely kiln friend for helping me experiment with this technique. I can’t wait to keep learning, creating and making hand-drawn bespoke glass pieces. 💛🎨🪞
