Following some really positive conversations, Llangollen Town Council will be discussing my proposal to support the reinstatement of a Poet Laureate for Denbighshire at their next meeting.

This is a huge step forward, but I'd love your help.

If you haven't already, please sign the petition and share it with others. Every signature shows that our community believes poetry, storytelling, and the arts deserve a place at the heart of Denbighshire.

And who knows... if the role is reinstated, could you be Denbighshire's next Poet Laureate?

Seeing the wonderful news that Jay Rose Ana has become Worcester's Poet Laureate got me thinking...

Isn't it about time Denbighshire had one too?

Our county has such a rich literary heritage and an incredible creative community. I believe a Poet Laureate could help celebrate our stories, inspire future generations, and champion the arts across Denbighshire.

I've started a petition to ask Denbighshire County Council to reinstate the role.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along last night —whether you're one of our regular faces or joined us for the first time. Every voice, every poem, and every person helps make this community what it is. What a wonderful evening it was! 💜
