Thanks to everyone who came today, from the volunteers, traders, layout operators and most importantly, you, our customers. I hope you had a great day. Please know that whatever part you played today, you helped raise money for charity, because all the money raised goes to Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. They bring together not just warring parties but all the people from around the world to celebrate music and dance, and hopefully make peace with each other ( which is needed more this year ). Look them up, they have a great lineup this time, it's starting in a few weeks. So thanks again, and hope to see you all next year.

On display in our marquee is the acclaimed Crovan's Gate, created by renowned railway modeller Terry Newhouse and based on the world created by the Rev. W. Awdry in the Railway Series books that inspired Thomas the Tank Engine.

It's a stunning layout and a must-see for railway modellers, Thomas fans and anyone who appreciates the art of miniature railways.

After enjoying Crovan's Gate, climb aboard a full-sized heritage train and experience the real thing as steam and diesel services operate throughout the Dee Valley.

Tomorrow sees the return of the fantastic Llangollen Garden Railway Festival, with doors opening from 10:00am at Llangollen Pavilion.

If you love trains of any size, tomorrow really is your perfect day out.

🚂 Double the trains, double the fun in Llangollen this June!

The Llangollen Garden Railway Festival has teamed up with the Llangollen and Corwen Railway to create the perfect weekend for railway enthusiasts, big or small.

🎟 Tickets for the Garden Railway Festival on Saturday 6 June 2026 are now on sale:

You can also book in person at Llangollen Tourist Information Centre.

Festival ticket holders can get £3 off travel on the Llangollen and Corwen Railway on 6 and 7 June, and railway passengers can also receive £3 off entry to the Festival.
