Who we are

The Radnor Fringe Festival is an intimate family festival based in a truly beautiful wooded valley within a Victorian park that centres on the old spa buildings of Llandrindod Wells in the heart of Wales. The festival aims to provide wider access to - and education in - music, literature, dance and the visual arts to both the local and wider community of Llandrindod, Radnorshire and Powys as a whole.

The Radnor Fringe is run entirely by a dedicated, enthusiastic and talented team of unpaid volunteers who give up massive amounts of time and energy throughout the year to make the not-for-profit event happen and want to share their passion for music, theatre, comedy, art and all things cultured.

“We believe that it shouldn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, old or young, a lover of poetry or dub, we want to create an event that gives everyone the opportunity to experience something new and something inspirational, an event that celebrates and unites the diversity of our community in the most fun and beautiful way possible, that’s why we work so hard to keep the festival completely free,” say organisers.

Last year, the festival hosted a wealth of local talent and welcomed top-class acts from across the UK in a three-day spectacular that provided over 100 acts and performances. As well as all those performances, there was a great selection of craft and food stalls, an amazing bar, walking plant ladies and so much more.
