What if Syd hadn't gone off his rocker? Would Floyd have been a better band or simply followed the same formula of acid pastoralism and space rock? Personally I think Floyd were a better band with Roger and Dave at the helm. However, I still love a lot of the Syd inspired tunes - the scarecrow for example
