My next gig!...

This Sunday the 6th of July for the amazing Shy Lowan Pony and Horse Sanctuary.

It's a great day out for families and all they ask for is a donation. The work they do with the horses and for the people with disabilities who look after them, is just phenomenal. Very honoured to playing here... Hope to see you there x

I loved opening the show at The Rowan park music festival fundraiser...

The sun shone, the breeze blew, we sang, we danced, we smiled and collectively £5,000 was raised to go towards the rebuild of the Rowan Adventure Park.
Absolutely amazing!

What a day. I don't have many photos or videos but memories were made ⭐

The song I am singing here is to my son. It's called, Conrads Song.
He's mostly non verbal but just because he doesn't say too much, it doesn't mean he has nothing to say!
Far from it...

When I started playing guitar, he started playing percussion alongside me!
We developed a whole new way of communicating.

After kids running round the park with hammers and fighting
the other day,
I wrote this little poem...

(It's helpful to remember, it's not all kids. It's not all the parents fault!
I myself had troublesome teenage years. With the right guidance, they have the chance to change)

Do yourself a favour
youth of today
show those who remark
that you don't know how
to sit in the pub
or play in the park -
that you can.
That Cowboys and Indians
are so last century
Cops and Robbers
are just elementary!
Let's have done with
gang mentality.
I'm sure you really know
the game to play.
Please though,
just put your weapons away.
Show those who remark you can't
sit in the pub
or play in the park -
that you can.
That you're setting examples
to the next generation
not giving in to temptation
and that you're doing
the right thing,
you know the game to play
when the weapons are away.
Weapons and gangs
don't take fear
they make it
not just for them
but for you
they take lives away
but you,
you create it.
Go, create yours,
make it nice!
But just think twice -
about the consequence
and karma
of what you do.
And never mind me saying
show those who remark...
More importantly,
show yourself
you can and you do,
do the right thing.

So, youth of today
do yourselves a favour
Live your Life.
Make it count
after all
you are it's saviour.
You know the game
and what's going
down is wrong,
do not just go along.
You follow your own way,
don't f◇ up in the
game you play...

What a lovely evening spent at The Croissant of Inequality in Kensington.

It's a vegetarian community cafe that is a support network for people with disabilities. It's run by volunteers and every last Thursday, they have a monthly session, which is recorded and played on Liverpool Community Radio...
