Sorry for more award spam!! I’m just so incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved with ‘Tigers’. We went to the Greater Manchester Drama Federation Festival yesterday and performed. Tonight we came away with

🏆 Best Production
🏆 Best Original Play
🏆 Best Director
🏆 Outstanding Actor Award for Ted
🏆 Outstanding Actor Award for me

Our mission when we first started Tigers was purely just to do Brian’s bravely and beautifully written piece justice. I reckon we’ve nailed that like!! Chuffed to bits for Brian getting recognition for what must have been an incredibly difficult thing to put down on papers, let alone bring to the stage. Chuffed to bits for Sam as well. She’s a brilliantly talented director and has really brought Brian’s vision to life. And of course my mate Ted - such a talented actor who I’m so so pleased got involved a short notice.

It has been the most wonderful journey since walking into Merseyside Academy of Drama to start an Acting for Beginners Course three years ago, where I absolutely fell in love with acting and haven’t looked back. This last couple of months has been bananas though - having success after success with Tigers, signing for a professional agent and just really living the dream. The wonderful journey feels like it’s only just beginning too.

"...TIGERS..."

"...The turmoil within a fractured mind exhumed; the brittle bones of a memory, entombed for decades, have been ground, sieved and sprinkled upon tilled fields.

Sprouting, choking-roots, strangling a lost soul, of all innocence.

Precocious youth embalmed in guilt.

Buds of a child’s innocence picked, disentangled and blown, within a wisp of life’s stagnated breath.

The twists and turns of how a life should have been, remain embedded to this day… as something really powerful...
Something quite beautiful..."

All will be unearthed, in this RED ONION PRODUCTION, of "...TIGERS..." at the Cheshire One act drama festival, 18th & 19th April 2026, at the Nantwich players theatre, 1 Love Lane, Nantwich. CWS 5BH.
