So here is what I think I've learned about female giant stories.

When something in us gets out of balance, gets fixated on one thing rather than the variety inherent in all things, it appears in stories as a giant.

The feminine, the mother archetype, the goddess archetype in forms that are incomplete, become giants. Giants like to consume resources. They drink up all the water, hoard the gold, and drain the environment of life.

When they get back into balance they become the great and terrible powerful mother earth. In full power, encompassing everything.

This is not to say that this is what women are, only the feminine part of our psyche which is a part of everyone, all genders.

Any more giantess thinking/knowledge in the Handless Project hive mind?
