Liverpool Makefest

Liverpool Makefest Liverpool MakeFest, the UK’s biggest, FREE, family friendly festival celebrating all things ‘makey’. This year it is held at The Tapestry, off London Road.

Liverpool MakeFest was founded by Mark Felthan, Caroline Keep and Denise Jones in 2015. Liverpool MakeFest will be back in June 2022. We can’t wait! Would you like to run a workshop, show us your robot, demonstrate your latest project, or show people how to make cool stuff? Then please get involved! We’re looking for cool, fun exhibits, demos, activities and workshops that will inspire people to s

tart their OWN projects and make things. It can be as hi-tech or lo-tech as you like, big or small, finished or a work in progress. We’d love to have you all. Make sure to follow us on twitter and instagram.

We thought you might like a little look around some of the spaces.....Yes this isn't all of them!

We took some photos when we were guided around earlier this month. So the first selection are from the ground floor where the entrance will be. and the second set are from the 2nd floor - YES there is a lift and it is big enough and strong enough for a motorised wheelchair.

So most exhibitors will be split between, the ground floor and 2nd. And there will be talks and performances taking place on the 1st floor offices/spaces

We'll get some more photos and post them so you are familiar with the spaces that everything will be in.

The event is taking place Sunday Sept 13th from 11am to 5pm but we’ll need to set up from 9am and probably spend about an hour clearing up afterwards. So please bear that in mind. If you can only volunteer for part of the day that’s also fine.
