In Feb 2017 Malik & The O.G's Headlined the Visuali7e 2017 festival celebrating 150th anniversary of Canada for Black History Month. In 2015 Malik & The O.G's opened Liverpool International Music Festival when they performed a Gil Scott-Heron tribute show with an all star line-up at St Georges Hall, called "The Revolution will be live!" alongside Reggae titans Aswad, Rap star Talib Kweli and Liver
pool legends Craig Charles & The Christians. Malik & The O.G's took the show on a tour of Canada in Feb / March 2016 Headlining the iconic Kuumba Festival at Toronto's Harbourfront alongside the Grandfather of Rap Jalal Nuriddin (The Last Poets) and a host of local Canadian artists. The Revolution Will be Live moved to Ottawa where Malik & Jalal performed with Ottawa's finest Just Jamaal The Poet and Missing Linx, Apollo The Child, Rita Carter and more. They also performed at Toronto's York University and Ottawa's Carleton University. Malik & The O.G's album "Rhythms of the Diaspora Vol's 1 & 2 released Aug 1st 2015, Ft's Gil Scott-Heron, LL-Cool J & The Last Poets. Cleveland Watkiss opened the show at the iconic Hustlers Convention 40th Anniversary at the Jazz cafe in London with Lightnin' Rod (Jalal Nuriddin - Last Poets) and the Jazz Warriors International Collective, DJ Perry Louis and Poet Lemn Sissay. The show was for the film Hustlers Convention Ft. Malik Al Nasir along with Jalal Nuriddin, Chuck-D (Public Enemy), Ice-T, Immortal Technique, MC Lyte, Fab Five Freddy, Melle Mel and more. Malik & The O.G's performed live alongside artists such as Soul II Soul, Asian Dub Foundation and The Christians at 2013 Liverpool International Music Festival 2013. Malik & The O.G's debut live performance was at Cambridge University in 2011.
