I’ve never been able to lift things off the wheel without a batt, and I’ve always been envious of those who can. So I thought it was about time I learned (still a lot of practice needed!). These mugs are made from 300g of clay, and I’m throwing them to 11ish cm tall by 9ish cm wide. 🖤

I’m not just a one trick donkey, I can make these things to. I’m starting off my functional wood fired range nice and easy with some beakers. They are made from 300g of clay, I’m throwing them to 15cm tall by 9.5cm wide at the top. Up next cups and mugs. Exciting stuff…
