Dragon or Wyvern, which do you love more?

Why not both! I love making all types of creatures but dragons and wyverns are my favourite. They come to life as you're sculpting them with every scale, horn or tail texture. Making each creation unique.

What is slip? Have you used it before?

I absolutely love using slip as a base for my sculptures, it provides an all around colour to the base of the sculpture as it does stick to the kiln shelf when fired. Allowing me to add additional glazes and textures on top.

What makes you happy? For me it's pottery. I love being able to work with my hands and see visible results quickly without having to worry about the day-to-day headaches. All my stresses go away when working with clay and my is better for it!

What makes you happy?

If you ever want to try clay sculpting and don't know where to start we run a small sculpture class on Wednesday evenings in Lincolnshire - beginners always welcome.
