Excited to be showing ‘Hero’ at the AthertonGreen Art Summer Show starting today until 28th June ☀️☀️☀️

The horses head is made of cold cast bronze with a verdigris finish and is mounted on black granite.
The sculpture is part of a limited edition 2/9

The sculpture is a unique ceramic torso with a white glaze mounted on painted steel. I rather like this new white glaze- first time l’ve used it on my work!

Had a lovely afternoon last Friday at Paddock Studios, Lewes working directly from the lovely life model Ellie.

Every 10 mins the model (in the centre of the studio) is turned on her carousel and we correspond to the new view by turning our turntables- a really good opportunity for direct observation and to see the model 360 degrees.

As much as l love working from life drawings and intuitively l also absolutely love working directly from a life model. Looking forward to this Friday afternoon to conclude this piece!
