Here’s ‘Mila’ a unique stoneware ceramic seated figure and I’m delighted she’s in her new home in New York ! ☀️

She was initially inspired by a life model and then l continued to work on the sculpture in my art studio. When l finished the clay modelling l hollowed the sculpture and allowed the clay to completely dry out before firing to 1220 degrees in my kiln.

As a result of the high temperature (stoneware) the sculpture can be placed in either an interior or exterior space.

Absolutely delighted that my latest ceramic sculptures have found a beautiful new home inside the recently opened RH London, The Gallery in Mayfair.
You can find the sculptures nestled within the luxury furniture galleries set across five floors of the newly restored 18th century Palladian Mansion.

Well worth a visit if you’re in the area, behind the Royal Academy (7 Burlington Gardens, W1S)

The sculpture gardens in Surrey - is a magical place to visit as you walk along the sculpture trail under beautiful mature trees and broadleafed plants discovering the fabulous large collection of contemporary sculptures and it includes a beautiful new indoor gallery space.

Well worth a visit between now and the end of October.

Yesterday we visited Kew Gardens see the extensive Henry Moore sculpture exhibition. Over 30 monumental sculptures are installed throughout the Gardens and also (really interesting) an indoor exhibition of his work at the Shirley Sherwood Gallery within the grounds.

It’s well worth a visit - it’s on until Jan 2027 ☀️

The Sculpture Garden is a wonderful place to spend time in a creatively designed landscape with a wide selection of contemporary art and offers lots of dappled shade under beautiful trees!

Here’s ‘Lola’ one of my recent large seated ceramic figures. She has a contemplative feel to her with flowing continuous rhythm and movement around the ceramic forms.
Fired to a high temperature in the kiln the sculpture has a warm natural ‘honey’ colour finish.

Excited to be showing ‘Hero’ at the AthertonGreen Art Summer Show starting today until 28th June ☀️☀️☀️

The horses head is made of cold cast bronze with a verdigris finish and is mounted on black granite.
