📢 Concert announcement

Now that Spring is finally here, it's time to start looking forward to the Baldock Community Orchestra Spring Showcase! We'll be playing at St Mary's in Baldock, performing a range of well-known pieces from Greensleeves to ABBA. As always, there'll be a selection of delicious cakes in the interval 🍰

⏰ 3PM (doors open at 2:30PM)

🎟 £8.50 adult / £2.50 child (available on the door)

Please note that, because of the poor weather forecasted for tonight, there will be no rehearsal today. Our first rehearsal of the year will now be next week.

If your New Year's resolution is to start playing your instrument again - or perhaps you're looking to join a group to improve your skills - you're in luck! We have a number of vacancies in the orchestra, and we're particularly looking for violins, violas, oboes, trumpets and bassoons.

Rehearsals for the Autumn term start up this Thursday! We can't wait to seeing our current members back - and to welcome new players too.

BCO is a friendly, local orchestra made up of musicians who enjoy playing together! We have vacancies in many sections, but we'd be particularly keen to hear from you if you play:

- Violin
- Viola
- Bassoon
- Trumpet

As a guide, players should be around Grade 4-5 upwards - but we have a variety of pieces catering to a range of abilities.

Just a week left until our next concert! Will we see you there? 🎵

The Baldock Community Orchestra present an evening of entertainment, featuring music from the baroque era through to popular pieces from the twentieth century.

Doors open at 7:30 pm at the United Reformed Church in Baldock. Refreshments will be available.

Led by Terry Veasey, musical director, we meet each Thursday during term time at Letchworth Free Church. Please visit baldockorchestra.co.uk for more information.
