Photography & Videography Notice

Please note that official photography and videography will be taking place throughout Little People Love Letchworth on Saturday in Letchworth Town Centre. Our official photographer will be present from 10.30am - 12noon capturing photos, and Ali from Tutti Frutti will be around taking informal video throughout the day. Both will be wearing high vis vests so you know who they are.

Our aim is to capture general atmosphere shots for promotional purposes, including on our social media channels, website and in future marketing materials. We will be avoiding close ups of individual children without asking for consent first but children may appear in the background of wider shots as part of the general hustle and bustle of the day.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or video footage, please make every effort to avoid areas where filming or photography is taking place and inform a member of the event team on the day. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests where practicable, but we cannot guarantee that individuals will not appear in images or footage captured in a busy public environment.

If, after the event, you would like to query how we’ve used an image, please get int touch and we’ll look into it for you.

Introducing the Wynd Chill Out Zone!

Yoga, fairy storytelling, sensory play and crafts. What’s not to love!!

If the main square gets a bit much (and it can do!!) on Saturday then head to the Wynd for a quiet chill time.

We’ve got a packed day planned for you at this year’s Little People Love Letchworth festival!

Scroll through the slides to see what’s on and where, but if you’ve never been before (or need a reminder), here’s how it all works…

The main event runs through Garden Square Shopping Centre, all the way up Commerce Way, outside Iceland in the main square, and round the corner on Central Approach. There’s free face painting, free circus skills, free demonstrations from local baby groups, plus workshops and stalls with arts, crafts, making and playing. All on from 10 till 4. There are also stalls offering advice and support from local charities and family groups serving the Letchworth area.

Over in Leys Square there’s a fairground ride and Auntie Kitty providing all day free entertainment, with music, dancing and so much fun. We’re putting up gazebos to create a bit of shade here too, because it’s set to be a hot one.

Down at the Chill Out Zone, you’ll find free yoga sessions (just check the timetable to drop in), plus sensory play, craft activities, and our beautiful fairies doing storytelling and a walkabout with a very special friend.

And Belisily is hosting some events too, with a couple of interactive storytelling sessions. These are going to be lovely, so don’t miss them.

Everything is completely free. There will be stalls selling goods from local businesses, and we’d love for you to shop, eat and drink in our local shops and cafes too. Sweet Memories and Iceland are providing free ice lollies to keep you cool on the day.

Don’t forget your sunscreen, hats and water, and pop into the shops to cool off if you need to.
