We’re back for another summer session at The Black Lion as part of the brilliant Hops in the Tropics Beer Fest!

It was such an amazing experience being part of The Black Lion’s Illustrious Jazz Week , we loved bringing the grooves to such a fantastic venue and atmosphere.

Now we’re looking forward to coming back for more mellow summer grooves in the garden, soaking up those tropical vibes, cold beers and good times!

Come down, grab a drink, find a spot in the garden and let us provide the soundtrack.

This event has been created to shine a spotlight on the talented female DJs within our local music community, providing a platform to showcase their skills while encouraging greater representation and celebrating the important contribution women continue to make to DJ and music culture.

Disco Lemonade is more than just a night of great music; it's about bringing people together in a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone can enjoy themselves, connect through a shared love of music, and support local artists.

Last night we had the pleasure of spinning a selection of jazz vinyl in the beautiful beer garden at .lb as part of Jazz Week... and what a cracking evening it turned out to be.
As the sun dipped lower, the records crackled softly through the garden, conversations flowed, glasses clinked, and for a few hours the soundtrack was all about jazz. It was one of those perfect summer evenings that reminds you why music sounds best shared.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, stayed awhile, had a listen, and supported the night. Massive thanks as well to all the wonderful staff at The Black Lion for making us feel so welcome and helping create such a memorable evening.
And perhaps the biggest surprise of all... people actually left the England World Cup match to come and listen to jazz! Either that’s a testament to the power of vinyl... or someone forgot to charge the TV remote.
Here’s to more evenings where great music brings the community together.
