NEW ALBUM!😎

You can’t beat the feeling of holding your new album in your hand. Yes, CDs aren’t as widely used as they once were and obviously this album will be available on streaming services but there’s still satisfaction you can’t beat in holding something you’ve recorded. 🙏

Massive thanks go to Martin Whiteman at Brickwork Studios who has been a pleasure to work with on the production, Gareth Howell on the design front and of course, the next level talents of Mike Sole (keys) David Anderson (drums), Steve Nutter (double bass), Fino Lopes (guitar), Steve O'Gorman (saxes) & Zoe Swann Baillie (guest vocals) 👏❤️

Harborough Theatre took a chance on me when I didn’t even live in Harborough and just popped in on a whim! Now we’re four years in, every year sold out and have a live album to show for it! 😊 In a tough industry, this small town theatre are an example of how it should be done 👍

Latest album mixed! 😊

Listening through over the weekend to the next album release and I have to say that Martin Whiteman brickwork|studios has done a tremendous job! 👌🙌

This record is the first of this type I’ve done with a quintet and will be available in both CD and digital format. There will also be a special bonus CD run available to purchase at the Harborough Theatre show on 18th July which will include both the Valentines EP tracks and previously unreleased material 😉

These songs were all recorded live at last year’s sellout show at Harborough Theatre and the playing from the guys is absolutely electric! I’m not going to do the usual thing of saying ‘this is exactly as it was on the night, unedited, raw’ etc because Martin & I did put some time in on this in the studio and the end result is something I’m really pleased with 🙏

been getting back into 🎺 playing, my first (musical) love in a big way recently and been dying to get funky! introduced me to Phat Phunktion a while big and this one is a banger! Got a big funk/soul recording project later in the year so doing this is good prep!
