Spoken word is all about giving people the opportunity to perform anything you've written. There is no limit on what you can perform from poetry about yourself to a song that you just wanna show off to a few people. And if you just fancy watching, that's fine too! Over the year we'll be organising open mic nights and fun socials so that you can meet other with an interest in... speaking?

This Friday at LUU we’ve got workshops & an open mic leading up to the main event. You won’t want to miss it!

Slam of the north is all about celebrating Uni poets from across the north, and creating an amazing evening of poetry for everyone!
