✨ FIRST LOOK: A Canvas of Stars

For as long as we've had eyes to see the dark, we've filled it with stories. Ancient myths meet brand-new poetry beneath a projected night sky. Trickster gods, Norse giants, and the rabbit in the moon collide with fresh voices from Leeds, creating new constellations of story.

This September, we're teaming up with .uk to bring six brand-new pieces of theatre to the dome at Millennium Square. Short plays. Poetry. Prose. Awe, and wonder, all under a projected cosmic sky.

Journey with LAC into SPACE! 🌌

This September, Leeds Arts Centre is teaming up with Planetarium Go UK for a special mini project: Meaning In The Void, bringing our Poetry, Prose and Drama to life under the awesome dome of a Planetarium

We're looking for actors, speakers and backstage crew to help bring it together, and we'd love to meet you at our planning meeting:

Yorkshire Fringe starts this week and LACs talented members and beloved friends are putting stuff on throughout the Fringe

On Saturday LAC memebrs are acting in the SEIZURE Scratch Night at Bingley Little Theatre, and bringing their Edinburgh Preview Show to the Library on Woodhouse Moor

On Monday LAC Presents its Night of Spoken Word Poetry, Prose and Comedy at the Fox and Newt whilst our friends host Fight Like A Girl

On Tuesday our friends from Chapel FM and bring their beautiful musical telling of the life of Edna St. Vincent to the Attic for LOVE IS NOT ALL

On Wednesday our friends bring their latest collection of short plays and an improv gameshow to SevenArts in BACK TO BASICS

On Thursday our Thought Chain Presents a series of three short plays written by and starring an entire assortment of LAC members in WHAT COMES NEXT
