EXCITING NEWS, VW FESTIVAL IS MOVING FOR 2027! ❤️

After careful consideration, we are thrilled to announce a big change for the future of VW Festival: we are moving to Newby Hall in Ripon for 2027!

It’s only 20 minutes away from the original venue of Harewood House, straight off the A1 and easy to get to from the North or South.

Here is what the move means:

- Improved display area: A larger overall site allowing more space for Show & Shine entries and club stands.

-Smoother Entry: Vastly improved site access means easier entry and exit, cutting down on arrival and departure queues, with a one way system in place.

-Thursday Night Camping: Option to start your weekend early with an extra night of camping, allowing a less congested entry for both Thursday and Friday.

-Incredible On-Site Attractions: Your ticket price will also include access to Newby Hall’s award-winning gardens and fantastic adventure children’s play area including paddle boats, zip line and more. There are also River Ure boat rides, house tours and a miniature ride-on railway, (nominal charge applicable), as well as an onsite café and plant and gift shop.

This is a fantastic opportunity to move forward to ensure the long-term success and growth of the festival. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new home!

We would like to thank Harewood House and the team for an incredible 21 years, we look forward to a new chapter in the history of VW Festival and thank every single person who has been involved and participated in this iconic event and evolving it into what it is today.
