What, are you doing, in my FWAMP!

Fantasy World Adventures Mega Park! The Musical (FWAMP!) is an original British musical comedy written by Abbie Freeston with music by Matthew Stanley. After a successful 2025 run in Leeds, FWAMP! is making an emphatic return with a two-week run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026. But with limited access to funding, FWAMP! needs our help to make its Edinburgh Fringe dreams a success.

FWAMP! The Musical follows theme park nepo baby Teddy Mega as he decides to change his fate. After the tragic nobbling of his Dad, Teddy Mega is the newly appointed CEO of Fantasy World Adventures Mega Park! He’s trying to do it all - keep his mum happy, bring in new ideas and solve problems amongst the staff. The only problem is, Teddy has a secret: his one true passion is to become the theme park’s infamous mascot instead. This brand-new comedy musical is hilariously shameless, and showcases the rollercoaster that is love, life, and being a constant disappointment to your parents.

Meet us at Archive for exclusive access into the world of FWAMP! with an evening at the theme park! Enjoy live performances from the FWAMP! cast, live music from local bands, a Rat Depot special pub quiz, raffle prizes and an array of classic theme park games to make up the perfect summer evening while supporting FWAMP!’s Fringe run. All proceeds will support the Edinburgh Fringe production.

Every entry ticket also comes with three theme park tokens for use on the carnival games, with plenty of prizes to win on the night.

That’s a wrap for our screening of REDLINE (2009)!

We hope you had the best time because we flipping did! Thank you for coming and sharing this insane film experience with us. Special shoutout to Morton for holding it down for the C-tier Mario Kart characters.

Re-re-re-re-Red-REDLINE!!!!!!

On April 17th at Archive, we’ll be showing Takeshi Koike’s animated cult hit, Redline (2009), a visually stunning action packed adventure centred around intergalactic death racing.

Painstakingly crafted from over 100,000 hand drawn frames and constructed over the course of seven years, Koike’s Redline is one of the most visually overwhelming films ever made, and an essential film for appreciating the sheer excellence of Japanese animation. To celebrate such a banger, we’ll be playing Mario Kart 8 on the big screen before the screening, so arrive early! And don’t pick Toad. We’ve already picked Toad.

Beloved hotties…..meet Devon.

A mysterious enigma, no one truly knows where Devon came from…but one day he arrived at Rat Depot HQ and started pulling the strings, and the rest is history.

For almost three years, Rat Depot hasn’t had a logo that felt ours; a mascot that represents our personalities and the energy we bring to every event, letter and podcast. Our beloved illustrator set out to fix that, and in doing so built an entire world for Devon to play in. You’ll see Devon in every nook and cranny of our branding, and learn more about him along the way, all thanks to Josh.

Happy new year! We’re back baby.

On February 15th at in Manchester, we’ll be showing Bi Gan’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night (2018) in glorious, dreamlike 3D! A genuine masterpiece that will grow and grow in your soul, the film follows a man who returns to his home town after his father’s death, and decides to track down a woman he once loved.

The film is now renown for its incredible transition into 3D halfway through the film, departing on an hour long continuous shot sequence which is absolutely entrancing to watch. Do not miss this very rare opportunity to see the film as originally intended. Capacity for the venue is very limited, so get your tickets on our website fast and we’ll see you there 🎥

INTRODUCING: Our Tokyo Godfather poster courtesy of the fantastic ! 👼
