I honestly cannot recall a louder ovation for any band or artist that we have had at Leeds Blues Club over the years than the one last night for Jack-Austin Despy. Brilliant just brilliant.

We are delighted to announce an evening with legendary Wakefield musician and artist Bill Nelson, founder of the iconic band Be Bop Deluxe.

In conversation with Ian Haydock, Bill will reflect on his remarkable career, memories of growing up in Wakefield, and the vibrant local music scene that helped shape him during the 1960s. The evening will also feature a screening of Bill's acclaimed film Wakefield via Time Machine.
