Honestly? Painting this was the only moment of peace I had that day.
Kids were loud, the to-do list was endless, and somehow I ended up with a brush in my hand and this misty mountain scene slowly appearing on paper.
Watercolour doesn't care about the chaos. It just flows. And for a little while, so did I.

My dream is to paint the perfect misty forest. I'm not there yet - I know that. But it was a foggy forest painting that made me pick up a brush in the first place. So every time I paint this, I feel like I'm getting a little closer.

After almost two weeks away from my brushes-sick kids, endless days, no time for myself-I finally sat down today and painted. 🎨
And this is what came out.
A lonely tree. Bare branches reaching out in every direction, standing in the middle of open fields under a stormy sky.
Sometimes you feel exactly like that tree. Surrounded by people, noise, life-and still somehow alone with your thoughts.
Painting is my way back to myself.
