Today, Emily joined us to create her very own Fox Moru 🦊🌸

Emily has been one of the familiar faces we’ve loved seeing over the past year. From joining us at Moon Fest, taking part in seasonal activities, and later returning for Sakura in Bloom and our Moru Doll workshops, she’s been part of many special moments along the way.

While chatting today, I asked if she’d be coming to Wishes & Stars this July. Sadly, she told me she’ll be leaving the UK after completing her studies, so she won’t be able to attend.

Even though Pre-Wishes & Stars hasn’t officially started yet, she decided to leave a wish on our Wish Wall and create her own festival uchiwa before she goes 🎐✨

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Beyond the workshops, decorations and planning, it’s the people, memories and connections that make every event meaningful.

Thank you, Emily, for being part of our journey. We wish you all the very best for your next adventure and hope you’ll carry a little piece of Leeds, and our festivals, with you wherever you go 🌙💫

Today’s excuse for bringing this plushies out again 🎐✨

Happy Birthday to Tadayoshi Okura — one of my long-time favourites 🤍

Started liking them back when Super Eight was still called Kanjani8, so seeing Okura turn 40 now honestly feels a little surreal 🥹

So obviously the birthday boy had to get changed into a Birthday outfit today 🎐🧸

Honestly one of my favourite things about running the shop is getting to collect and pick out different doll outfits and tiny accessories all the time ✨
A lot of them actually fit 10–15cm dolls really well too — not just Moru Dolls or Labubu.

Thinking of putting together a small doll outfit sale soon for fellow plush & doll outfit lovers 👀
