Well yesterday was absolutely wonderful, a small but lovely crowd gathered at Caroline’s Kitchen for some great music. Thank you B-Sydes and Liam Goodman for playing, Caroline and David Goodman for hosting at such short notice, Andrea Geal and Lisa Carver for letting me use your pictures in this post, and everyone who came along.

I'm meeting a man about a venue this week so hopefully I will be able to start confirming next year's gigs in the coming weeks!

Unfortunately I have some bad news to share: I will not be able to put on any more gigs in the ruin for the foreseeable future.

This left me in a bit of a bad situation with B-Sydes + Liam Goodman coming up in less than a month. I was convinced that I would have to cancel the gig however the wonderful Goodman family have kindly offered to host the gig at the legendary Caroline’s Kitchen.

This means the gig WILL be going ahead, and I'm so grateful to the Goodmans for allowing me to take over their kitchen for this gig.

So please join us on Sunday 24th August, doors at 3, music from 4. Message myself or Caroline's Kitchen if you want to attend. Usual rules of cash donations in the hat and BYOB apply.

Last week's gig was fantastic - I would even go as far to say that the entire evening was perfect!

However we came very close to reaching capacity. To avoid any overcrowding in the future we ask that if you are planning on attending a gig book yourself and any others attending with you in by messaging us beforehand so we know how many people to expect.

If a gig is fully booked we will make up a reserve list to fill any spaces that become available.

That being said, get yourselves booked in for Lunabarge + FMI Clatters as I reckon this one will be busy, and keep an eye out for an announcement for our final gig of the year!

Well that was just a little bit special

Firstly thank you Flo Parker Bombosch and Wob for playing, and Dan FakeDave Poole for doing sound and lights - it looked and sounded amazing

Thank you Amie Talbot for agreeing to let me put this on, and for getting Simon Watson to get the ruin up to scratch

Caroline and David Williams brought some fantastic homemade cakes - you're both on the guestlist for any future gigs!

Less than 24 hours to go until Flo + The Escape Lane plus support from Wob, the first gig I've ever organised!

Those coming from Taunton please be aware that Bow Street in Langport is closed

The ruin is outdoors so if it's cold you may get cold, if it rains you may get wet!

Bring your own booze, bring some cash to put in the hat and a bit more cash to buy some merch

Those coming to Flo + The Escape Lane plus support from Wob from Taunton direction will be affected by this - the best way to avoid this is by taking the A38 then the A361 to Othery, then the A372 to Langport

OCU for Gigaclear will be closing Bow Street & Cheapside, Langport to carry out remedial works and install several new customer connections. The road closure will be in effect during the evening and night hours from 6th to 18th May, between 6.30pm and 6am. The road will be open outside these times.

A signed diversion route will be in place. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
