Lancaster Art Fair

We are excited to announce our first exhibitor for Lancaster Art Fair 2026

Based in the Lake District, artist Lindsay Oliphant creates paintings inspired by the natural world
and the impressive Cumbrian landscape that surrounds her. Her work aims to communicate
nature's powerful ability to affect our emotions. Working in grounded earthy colour palettes, she
tries to bring a sense of calm and connection through her compositions. Whether drawing from a
particular landscape or working more intuitively, her practice is guided by emotion, atmosphere,
and a sense of place. Often inspired by movement within the landscape, or the shifting light
patterns across the fells, she aims to create a moment of escape for the viewer, a place for them
to get lost in their own memories and experiences.

We are collaborating with this year to offer free exhibition spaces to emerging artists 😍🎨

These will run throughout August and we have space for a total of 3 artists to exhibit in the café bar and show their work to the people of Lancaster

*BIG NEWS* Our artist's open call for 2026 is now open!

We are excited to take applications from all kinds of artists, our show is always a vibrant and eclectic display of work from artists from Lancashire and beyond and we love supporting local artists in showing their talents and amazing creations!

Come down to this year's fundraiser on 8th May it promises to be a fun filled evening with live music, entertainment and an art auction and raffle!

Featuring Lunetide, The Bimble Brothers, Phil Sykes, The Arcane Hope and Karsten Krue, starting at 7pm till late with all proceeds going towards the running or Lancaster Art Fair 2026 - supporting local artists and providing free creative workshops and exhibitions to the local community ❤️

If you are a local creative or have been a part of the art fair in past years and would like to contribute a piece of artwork to the auction place get in touch 🎨🖌️🖼️
