Our hallway and stairs, from the finished result all the way back to where we started. 💙

Renovating an old house is a slow process, but looking back at how much a space has changed makes all those little decisions and projects feel worth it.

We’re creating a home that feels like us, with colour, character and cosy little corners that make everyday life feel special.

Swipe to the very end to see the original hallway!

Are you a colourful home person, too?

Sometimes, we all need a little reminder from the little girl we once were. 🤍

If she could see us now, I think she’d be proud. Maybe even more than we ever imagined.

Motherhood isn’t about being a perfect mum. It’s about learning to trust ourselves, listening to our intuition, growing alongside our children, and remembering that we’re learning as we go, too.

And sometimes, all we need is a little hand in ours to remind us that we’re doing better than we think. 🥹🤍

My superpower? 🤍 Being present for my daughter through every stage of her life, watching her grow, learn and become her own little person.

I’m so proud to be by her side through it all. Maybe that’s the most beautiful part of motherhood getting to experience this kind of love every day. 🥹✨

🍐🍂 Pear & Cinnamon Oat Pancakes

A cosy little autumn breakfast that’s so simple to make and perfect if you’re still finding your way around baking like me. 🤎

You’ll need:
• 250g oats
• 1 egg
• 1 peeled pear 🍐
• 1 tbsp cinnamon
• 1 tbsp vanilla

Method:
Add everything to a bowl and mix together with a spatula until well combined.

Cook your pancakes in a lightly greased pan over medium heat until golden on both sides.

Then top with chocolate chips, a little cream and maple syrup. ✨

I used my silicone spatula with the angled head, which makes mixing and flipping these little pancakes so much easier.

Would you try these for a cosy autumn breakfast? 🍂☕️

Today I recreated a Mexican style burrito with smoked 🌯🇲🇽

I love taking the flavours I grew up with and finding new ways to make them here in England especially with ingredients I can actually find in my local supermarkets.

And this one turned out SO good. 🤤

If you want me to share the recipe, let me know in the comments and I’ll post it!

Also, if you’ve been curious about trying Tofoo, they currently have a Try Me Free promotion for their Naked Tofoo. You can buy a 280g pack and claim your money back perfect excuse to give it a try. Ad

I’ll leave the link to claim it in the comments! 🇲🇽🇬🇧

I’m starting a new series about something very close to my heart: teaching my daughter about the Mexican traditions that raised me. 🇲🇽

We’re living in England, and one of the things that matters most to me is making sure she grows up knowing where her mum comes from and understanding the traditions that are part of our family.

So for our very first episode, we’re starting with Día de Mu***os but in a way that makes sense to her: through play. 🧡

LEGO is something she already loves, so building our little ofrenda together gives me a really natural way to start talking to her about what Día de Mu***os means, why we remember our loved ones, and how we celebrate their lives and keep their stories alive.

And honestly, I think this is what makes traditions so special finding ways to pass them on that feel joyful, simple and meaningful for our children.

This is just the beginning of our “Raising Her With My Mexican Traditions” series. 🇲🇽🇬🇧

Follow along as I share how I’m bringing little pieces of Mexico into our life here in England one tradition, one story and one little activity at a time. ❤️
