2025 was a whirlwind. One of the toughest years I’ve had, but also one of the most rewarding, with a few big life moments in there.

I married my amazing, endlessly supportive wife, and got to watch my son grow another year older into the little character that he is.

I took full ownership of the studio and the business, pushed further into live sound for a change of scenery, and got myself out of the studio a bit more. I finished my third year at uni, with my final honours year nearly wrapped up.

It’s been a struggle keeping up with socials, but there’s been a lot happening behind the scenes; live sessions, full album projects, and some creative projects of my own.

Heading into the new year feeling grateful and motivated. I’m busy with recording, mixing and production work, but the diary is open for new bookings from mid-April/ May onwards.

Really keen to connect and work with some new bands this year, so hit me up if you’ve got a project in mind!

Recently swapped out the Kali IN-8s, for the IN5s that I was using as B monitors in the studio.

Absolutely loving these smaller monitors! After spending some time setting these up and making a few small position adjustments, I’ve managed to achieve a better low end response than I ever had on the 8s and fixed a few issues that were bothering me over the last couple of months.

Just goes to show what a few cm difference in placement can do, and that bigger isn’t always better!
