Well done to the young but ridiculously talented “Mania” on a brilliant debut to a very large crowd at the bandstand today. We received lots of very positive feedback and the band were even offered the opportunity of playing at a festival. They have asked us to pass on their thanks to all who came to support them.

You’re in for a treat this week band fans. Something a little different. We have a debut bandstand performance from “Mania”, a young band made up of 4 local students from the ACM Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, who have been making a big impression on the local pub circuit.
Eagle eyed regulars may recognise the band’s drummer, Alex Bartlett, who, from the tender age of 14 guested with bandstand regulars, Soul Rites ( back themselves on July 12th).
Come along and let these seriously talented young men rock your afternoon with a mix of contemporary covers and original music.

We hope everyone enjoyed yesterday’s concert from the Carlton Dance Band (thank you guys) and there were no casualties to the heat. Next week’s fun in the sun will come courtesy of the Perrin Jazz Collective so get your hats and sun cream ready for some cool jazz on a hot Summer’s Day.

We hope it wasn’t too hot for our band fans yesterday and that you all enjoyed the concert. This week’s fun in the sun will be provided by the Perrin Jazz Collective. Hopefully, it’ll be just a little cooler but please do take precautions if temperatures soar again.

Looks like lovely weather for tomorrow’s concert- please be careful in the heat. Slap on the sun cream, bring a hat and have lots of drinks- Canbury Secret and Boaters will be happy to oblige. There’s plenty of shade under the trees too.
