Audiovision

Audiovision Run by: Plastic Spoon Productions - Charles Jean-Boucher, Jamie Abbott + Sam Mckeown This is something that makes the shows unpredictable, exciting and unique.

AUDIOVISION is an exciting Multimedia LIVE event, experimenting with collaboration and the format a music concert can take. Our mission has been to bring together the talent from the local area in an effort breakdown barriers and demonstrate the potential for collaboration. The show has a rough format:
-We like to use 100% original music: which we find through friends and contacts, so it's all pre

tty local. And it ranges from live bands, experimental music played on PA, or background music in the intervals.
-Diversity is one of our main aims: we like to include everyone where possible no matter of background or skill level. We try to create a platform for other voices to be heard on and we like to juxtaposition differences to create an unexpected and engaging show.
-We like projections: They give us the flexibility to manipulate moving image and be creative with its presentation so that video can be just as performative as music, creating a new way of engaging both media.
-We like collaboration: The content seen in the shows is a result of a collaboration between musicians and video makers. Performers in Audiovision have an active responsibility and freedom to shape their section of the show as they like. We wish to promote this. PAST EVENTS

Hi Everyone,

Dan Townend (Fine art student and contributor to both Audiovision shows) has uploaded his main screen animation for one of the songs he animated for Phoria as part of Audiovision 2.
Go check it out here and let us know what you think http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAU4d6DEyXA&feature=youtu.be

Also video footage of the 2nd show is still in the process of editing but will hopefully be ready in the near future, so keep your eyes pealed.

A film I made to accompany the band Phoria's song, Dolls Spinning Wide. The films were projected on stage during the band's live performance in Kingston. Enj...
