After plating this, pops cut the biggest piece of meat, looked at me and said “sh*t Hasan, this one’s the best one” 😂😂 oh well. Still delicious. Veggies we’re oven roasted first, then grilled on the charcoal to really bring out their beautiful flavor. So delicious. Caesar salad and sourdough on the side of course. maaaan will this make a good sandwich today.

No words will begin to display how proud and blessed I am to call this one my best friend and my partner. Hannah just accepted a freaking position as a clerk to one of the Senators in the Iowa Capitol. There is no one more deserving, more caring, and passionate for her community, country and the betterment of people all across the world. The political system, thanks to people like Hannah will be a much better place because someone who cares for and is willing to address problems that our politicians avoid is what we need. Our youth are the future leaders of this country and world, and I’m beyond confident when I say that Hannah WILL be a leader that is fair to all of her constituents. & on top of all this intelligence and smarts, she’s absolutely the most beautiful person I know inside and out. Congratulations to you, h. I’m so proud of you. Here’s to the next step...🥰 😉

Would I rather spend my last weekend of undergrad in Iowa City partying with my homies? Or go back home for the listening party for THE DEBUT ALBUM by .ish_music (the latter, of course). I got to hear this last night, and this is some special music. Put KOD down, ignore Kanye’s twitter, and stop listening to that damn Post Malone album. Hell, stop listening to Kendrick (& that’s me saying this) MAY 4th. drops... can’t begin to say how proud, but also blown away I am by how amazing this album is. From funk, to jazz, to hip hop, rock n roll, everything in between…this is my favorite project yet. Yeah, I may be biased because these my boys, but I would tell them if I wanted more, and I’m telling you guys...no disappointment. Each track has its own groove and everyone will find a song if not more that they can vibe with. This is my favorite project of 2018. It will be on ALL STREAMING SERVICES MAY 4th! I’ll keep y’all updated but .ish_music with that follow to see what’s next.
