Sheena Anne Crankson has helped me, and my family (and many others) enormously, asking for nothing in return. She is an incredible human being with a very big heart who has changed many people’s lives. It makes me very sad to think of her in such pain. HELP NEEDED FOR THE FOUNDER OF OUR ADHD "TRIBE"
Our Fastminds community has been built on kindness, understanding, and people showing up for one another when it matters most. Today, we're asking for that same support for someone who has spent years helping so many of us: Sheena Crankson.
She's a ridiculously independent person and doesn't like having to ask for help, but this time is different - pain is a great motivator!
Please give what you can so Sheena can get the private medical treatment she urgently needs to reduce the excruciating pain she's in (because of a trapped nerve in her back) and get her back on her feet, rather than have to potentially put her life on hold for months waiting for an NHS appointment.
Should this appeal be fortunate enough to raise more than our GoFundMe target, any remaining funds will be donated directly to our support group, so we can continue building on the valuable work that Sheena so generously and selflessly started doing back in 2013 - ie. promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of adults affected by ADHD and making life easier for Neurodivergent individuals and their families in Kingston and the surrounding areas - whether diagnosed with ADHD or not.
