Capturing the evening golden hour lighting can be challenging. The main task is to choose the right colours and tones. Basically, there are just three colours:
🟨 Cadmium Yellow
🟥 Cadmium Red
🟦Ultramarine Blue

These are enough to paint almost all the paintings you’ve seen lately on my Instagram. Check out some examples in the carousel.

I remember times when we travelled extensively. Sometimes we encountered places where people deliberately gather to witness the sunset 🌅 Such places can be found anywhere on Earth, but not everywhere is there a tradition of intentionally going somewhere just to admire the sunset.

Such a great and simple idea!

I find it so rewarding when we manage to make the effort to visit such places. It brings immense joy and peace, providing a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with loved ones, all at no cost.

If you’ve known me for a while, you’ll know that I love to paint/sketch/draw the precious moments of my life in the sketchbook or as art pieces. Each watercolour holds a memory that I want to cherish, collecting them like pearls ❤️

There are days when it feels like evil is winning. At those times, I am reminded again and again of the importance of having inner support, a reliance on oneself. Somehow, painting light helps me; it’s as if by creating it on paper, I am able to multiply it and make it my own.

I love it when patches of watercolor come together to create magic, adding depth and a glowing effect. I’m enjoying this special atmosphere, how it affects me, and I can’t wait to share my passion with you in my new class 💫

I’m working on a new watercolour class on painting golden hour lighting. 💫💫💫 It is turning out so cosy, beautiful, and inspiring that sometimes I can’t resist taking a break from editing and voicing to spend a couple of hours painting for my own pleasure.
