‘A Bond of Blooms’, watercolour and ink on artist panel board, framed, is now available on my website (link in bio). This is part of the ‘Flowers in a Vase’ series which keeps growing alongside my inspiration! This piece is slightly smaller than my previous works in this series, it not only feels more intimate but it reminds me of ‘Autumn Explosion’….maybe it’s the poppy blue frame!

If you are interested and would like to view this piece please DM me or it will be exhibited at the Landmark Art Fair in October.

Progress of ‘Cascade of Brilliance’ in reverse! I absolutely LOVE this piece! It’s on my website (link in bio) and it will be coming with me to Landmark Art Fair in October!
FYI it has already been photographed and I am thinking of Giclée prints and maybe even canvas prints with a bespoke painted frame……what do you think?

July’s blog is published and ready to read on my website (link in bio!).

We are now two weeks into the summer holidays and I absolutely love having the kids home, not rushing and just enjoying being! Don’t get me wrong there’s been plenty of bickering (amongst the kids!) but we were all very ready for the slower days. I still need to work and plan on staying creative and this month’s blog chats about the ways I’m hoping to do this!

As always I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions for future blogs!

Print release!!! ‘Seasons of Brilliance’ and ‘A Season and a Charm’ Giclée prints are now on my website (link in bio).

I am again so happy with these prints ( Sturgess you are fantastic!); I can’t tell the difference between these and the originals! The originals are currently not for sale (they are hanging in my home!) but these prints are pretty much identical!

Both pieces have been professionally photographed and printed onto Somerset Enhanced Velvet paper, unframed and unmounted, 40x50cm sized to fit a standard frame.

‘Cascade of Brilliance’ is now on my website and officially for sale!
This piece was most definitely a labour of love, it took many, many hours to build up the layers of detail and reflects the tangle and craziness of my life at the moment! I loved getting lost in it!

Watercolour and pen detail, varnished and framed in a hand painted detailed frame.

Although I have been very quiet on here, I have been super busy in the studio finishing this piece! I am still obsessed with working on the panel boards and the bright poppy frames but with this one I have taken it a step further and made the frame part of the art!!! I am so happy with it and loved becoming lost in the tangle of feathers (kinda reflects my chaotic life at the moment;).

I’ll be popping this on to my website soon but if you are interested, have any question’s or would like to see it in person then send me a DM! I am also thinking of offering prints, I’ll keep you updated!
