It might be a hot one today but we've got some cool music for you tonight at Music HQ Presents regular Wednesday night acoustic & open mic at Hatters Cafe Bar in Hull's Old Town.

Special guests tonight Consequences onstage around 9pm with lots of open mic time before and after. 18+, free drink for players, Luke behind the bar and Darren on the organising/sound side of stuff :)

Just a reminder, no Music HQ Presents Gards Unplugged tonight as Gardeners Arms Hull is a massive Fanzone for tonight's England world cup game.

BIG Music HQ Presents UPDATE !!!!

Right then, lots of exciting stuff happening, its been a while since we've been so busy with new stuff and its great we are so here goes :)

Gards Unplugged is going great at Gardeners Arms Hull on a Tuesday, thanks to the support of Mark & the staff and all the lovely people coming down to play & watch. We're having a break this week for the big England game but back on the 30th June with special guest Terry Igoe

Acoustic Wonderland at Hatters Cafe Bar on a Wednesday is chugging along nicely every week in one of the most unique bars in Hull City centre, this week we have Consequences as special guests

Thursday Night Live - our first bit of 'new' stuff, we've been asked to run a new acoustic & open mic night at Mullets Bar on Holderness Road every Thursday night kicking off this week with special guests Music HQ Presents Thursday Night Live for more info

The Cherry Louge Live at Cherry’s in Hull Freedom Quarter - our second 'new' thing, along with Ziggy Boodie we've been asked to help run the popular Sunday afternoon acoustic session. Because we already have so much booked in already on Sundays at O'Rileys we won't be running a session until 16th August but up until then Ziggy will be looking after it every other week.

Saturday 27th June - we've helped put together the local act showcase for the national Everywhere At Once Festival in The Backroom at O'Rileys with lots of the acts from Hull Sound Collective appearing :)

Saturday 4th July - for a second year we've helped program the live entertainment for BeaverFest at Beverley RUFC ground, its a cracker - more details on BeaverFest 2026

We might have forgotten something but that wouldn't be surprising would it ;) See you at a gig soon :)

Exciting news Music HQ Presents have been asked to host a new Thursday night acoustic & open mic night at Mullets Bar on Holderness Road from next week (25th June).

Our first special guests are Echoes Of Moscow plus we'll have lots of time for open mic sets as well. If you want to get booked in for a special guest spot from 2nd July drop us a message or just come on down from next Thursday :)

Tonight its Acoustic Wonderland Open Mic with special guests The Beat Up Shades at Hatters Cafe Bar and we are very happy to welcome back the great duo The Beat-Up Shades as special guests.
