A quick mash up of some of the good bits from this year’s festival, to the sound track of Joe Broughton’s Folk Ensemble. They were such a fabulous highlight, people are still talking about them!

What an absolutely fabulous day of music and dance! And yummy food, drink, sunshine and shiny happy people having the best day! Please add your photos here, and let us know what you enjoyed the most! Here are some photos that I took yesterday, I was in the Memorial Hall all day but popped out to the Green for a break and a burger, so saw the end of Joe Broughton’s Conservatoire Ensemble, absolutely brilliant! Then I saw the start of the Thumping Tommy’s set and they were going down very well. And the evening concert in the Memorial Hall with Culverake, Honey and the Bear and Merry Hell went on until gone 12.30am! Thank you to everyone who came and helped make the day such a success. I will share pics of the other areas of the festival when I gather them from others. Right, how can we top this for next year…..??

If you are delayed in the morning and have tickets for the 11am church concert, then go straight to the church, and collect your wristband later on. It’s going to be a great day, see you there!

Happy Wednesday! We at Kimpton Towers HQ are very happy as we have only a handful of tickets left, and that means we will most likely sell out before Saturday, as we have the last two years. The last few tickets are the ones that ensure we break even! Is if you are a Last Minute ticket buyer, this is your Last Minute warning!

Of course in addition to the indoor ticketed concerts, if you just turn up on the day, you can enjoy the sunshine (specially ordered), the real ale, the food stalls, the morris dancing and of course a full day's programme on the outdoor Green Stage, including the incredible Joe Broughton's Conservatoire Folk Ensemble! and the late afternoon Ceilidh is not to be missed.

Tomorrow I will post all about the activities in the Family Area, so your children can start getting excited too!

Tickets for the indoor concerts are available here..but not for long...

Good morning! Here is the link to the digital programme…appear copies will be available at the festival, but this sneak preview allows you to on your day! To get to a concert, a workshop, a food stall, see a band on the village green, watch the Living Theatre show in the Family Area…dance at the ceilidh and listen to some buskers while having a b**r at the Boot! So much to fit in to your day!

Some important notices….the road into Kimpton from Codicote is closed, so please allow extra time for driving into the village. It is a short walk from the car park (£5 charge for all day, please do not block the village high street trying to park!). Allow plenty of time to visit the festival desk on the Green to exchange your ticket for a wrist band, if you are seeing Edwina Hayes playing the opening set at the 11am church concert, I suggest you arrive by 10.30am latest.

All other important information is in the programme, sit down with a coffee and have a read!
