We’re recruiting for more PSV drivers to join our team of Sleeper Bus Drivers for our expanding fleet of luxury tour buses.

The initial position will be as a back up driver covering weekly breaks and multi-manning. For the right candidates there is the potential in time to move in to permanent full time positions on our coaches.

As a full time Sleeper Bus Driver you will spend up to 60 days at a time driving bands and their production crew to music venues and festivals throughout the UK and Europe.

You will need to be the holder of a Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) driving licence and have a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and digital tachograph. Ideally you will also have your D+E category to allow you to tow trailers.

You will be reporting to the Transport Manager and your role will be to:
• Ensure the health and safety and comfort of the passengers at all times whilst adhering to EU regulations regarding permitted driver hours
• Conduct First Use Checks before setting out on any journey
• Carry out mechanical and vehicle interior defect reporting
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance whilst out on tour
• Report breakdowns to the company mechanic
• Represent the company whilst out on tour to the highest standard
• Ensure the bus is kept in an immaculately clean and tidy state at all times whilst on the road
• Deal with all manner of issues that can arise whilst out on tour for long periods of time.
Successful candidates will need the following skills and abilities:
• Excellent communication skills
• Loyalty and discretion
• The right level of self-confidence with a can-do attitude
• Well organised with a strong work ethic and takes pride in their work
• Punctuality and reliability
• Basic mechanical knowledge

This role will suit individuals who are able to work away from home for extended periods of time and enjoy interfacing with people from all types of backgrounds.
