A really fun model for you today!

I believe this is meant to be a chibi Space marine, if not well, that's how I've painted it anyway!
I have recently caught a few reels from , and decided to give NMM with a makeup sponge a go. And honestly it is a bit of a game changer, as you can see I have used it across the helmet and body armour to pretty good effect overall.
I mainly used brush work over the gold metal areas as these were more fiddly.

One of my favourite models so far today!
Another of the gorgeous minis from .

I was super happy witht he skin on this little goblin! Absolutely some of the best skin I have painted so far in my opinion. I undercoated with a layer of purple to give some deep shadows and then gentle layer up brighter and brighter greens, ensuring to keep my highlights at the highest points.
I was also super pleased with the earrings and the metallic effect that this gave in the end.

Another of the chibi minis, today is a Triceratops!

I wante to experiment a little bit with this mini, I decided to go for a bit of a contrasting theme for the skin. I used a makeup sponge to stipple orange over a dark blue base, I think the effect worked okay.
I can defintely see some improvements to make for future models, but as experiments go I would say this was a success. After all, this hobby is about developing new methods and trying out different colour schemes and patterns to see what works.

Now that the sun has stopped baking my studio (just a little bit less anyway) I have finally been able to get back to painting the rest fot he Chibi Minis from

This is a wonderful little cat rouge/warrior! I wanted to go for a ginger tabby feel with the fur, and I had a lot fo fun getting it jsut right and was really happy with the final outcome!

One more Chibi Model today! This is definitely one of my favourites.

This Little chibi dragon was a whole bunch of fun to paint and really satisying once I saw the final result. I was super pleased with how the mouth/nose came out. I wanted to ensured that the jaw was its own defined section and I was happy with the final touch of glazing to blend it back into the scales.
And the overall look of the staff came togther really nicely too.

I deifntley tried to apply colour theory a bit more with this guy to make certain aspects pop and I was actually surprised by the results!.

Another mini from my UKGE trip, picked up from !

This cute little fella' Is a chibi axoltl. Again another really nice model to paint. I used a green underlayer and then painted a sea-green blue on top to give it a nice watery feel! I was super please with the gills on this model as well as the detail on the leaves!

So you may be aware that is is INCREDIBLY hot in the UK right now! and that makes painting really tricky😅 Especially in a studio with no air conditioning. Currently I am waiting for it to cool down a bit, but I have a few models ready to share with you that I picked up at UKGE from the stand! (I bought a whole bunch of their misprints, who are still incredibly well detailed).

This first one is a cute little Chibi dinosaur explorer! I had a lot of fun painting this guy and think he came out absolutely amazingly. I used some darker purple glazing to add shadows into some of the green recesses and think this worked nicely to emphasise the shadows.

Another classic lovecraftian creature today the 'Deep one'

These models were really nice to paint up. I mainly used a mix of blues and greens to give the models a watery/deep ocean aesthetic and overall I think it worked out really nicely.

Out of the skies of my Mansions of Madness commission come some 'Hunting Horrors'

This was deifnitely another of my favourite models to paint from this commission. I was super pleased with the final result of the wings. They really ended up having a nice leathery look to them which worked perfectly for the moodel.

A Shoggoth! A classic lovecraft creature, and yet another of the minis from my Mansions of Madness Commission!

A really cool coupole of models, I was really happy with the final look of them. The pictures don't quite do them the justice they deserve as they do look a bit more slimy in real life!
