The Kendal 'Olympic Summer Trail' starts today and a few of us here at The Factory are taking part. There are 174 businesses taking part in Kendal so if you are a Family looking for a fun activity, follow the trail maps and look out for pictures displaying a number. The trail is on until the 1st September.

Lots happening at Space2Create over the weekend the opening of Debbie Nicholas’s solo exhibition today and then lunchtime refreshments and children’s painting activities 10am to 4pm tomorrow (Saturday).

The Floralistas are also open (in between weddings and decorating hotels throughout the Lakes) so no set times but they welcome visitors when they are in !

If you’re heading for our Open Studios at the weekend, why not call into The Factory Tap for liquid refreshments? They’re open 1pm to 10pm on Friday, with Mara pizza early evening, 3pm to 10pm on Saturday and 3pm to 9pm on Sunday.
